Claim without the trail.
An early idea for private airdrop claims on Solana.
Placeholder only. The waitlist is not live and nothing you type here is sent anywhere.
Same airdrop. A less obvious trail.
Normally an airdrop pays the exact wallet that qualified, so anyone can see that this wallet got this much. Dropcloak explores letting you claim somewhere else, without publishing the connection.
Claim to a fresh address
Receive tokens at a new address you control, instead of the qualifying wallet.
Prove eligibility, not identity
A proof shows you are on the eligibility list without saying which entry is yours.
Stays auditable
Eligibility rules and total amount claimed remain checkable by anyone, so the drop cannot quietly over-pay.
Four steps down.
This is the intended design, not a shipped product. It also needs a distributor to choose to support it.
Eligibility list
The airdrop publishes a commitment to who qualifies. The list itself is already public data.
Prove
On your device, you build a proof that your wallet is in that list. The proof does not name your entry.
Claim
You submit the proof with a fresh destination address. A one-time marker stops double claims.
Verify
An on-chain program checks the proof, pays the fresh address, and updates a public running total.
What the cloak covers, and what it does not.
Broken link Hidden
- Which qualifying wallet a given claim belongs to.
- The direct on-chain connection between the qualifying wallet and the claiming address.
- Which eligibility entry was used, as seen from the proof alone.
Verifiable Public
- The eligibility list or its commitment, and the rules for qualifying.
- That a valid claim happened, when, and to which fresh address.
- The amount received at the fresh address, and the total claimed so far.
- Everything the fresh address does afterwards.
If it is not live, it says so.
Known limitations — please read
- Not anonymity. This reduces linkability between a qualifying wallet and a claiming one. It does not hide who you are, and it does not erase your history.
- Concept and devnet stage, unaudited. No third-party review has been done. Do not use it for real value.
- The fresh address needs gas. If your main wallet sends fees to fund it, that transfer is a public link. Funding must be handled carefully, for example through a fee relayer, and none is built.
- The eligible set is public, so privacy is limited by its size. If few wallets qualify, or most have already claimed, there are fewer places to hide.
- Amounts and timing can fingerprint you. A distinctive claim amount or a claim right after a snapshot can still point back to a wallet.
- Moving funds can re-link them. Sending claimed tokens straight to a known wallet or exchange undoes the separation.
- Distributors must opt in. This only works for drops that use a compatible claim program. Existing airdrops are not covered.
- Not affiliated. Not connected to pump.fun, the Solana Foundation, or any other project.
- Follow your local laws. You are responsible for lawful use, including tax and sanctions rules where you live.
